JWT Construction & Maintenance Pty Ltd - Service Terms
1. Scope of services
These terms apply to services provided by JWT Construction & Maintenance Pty Ltd (ABN 35 694 909 950). The specifics of each engagement are set out in the quote and any signed work order, which together with these terms form the agreement.
2. Quotes and pricing
Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote and reflect the scope and conditions described at the time. Variations to scope, materials, or site conditions may result in price adjustments, which will be discussed and agreed with you before the affected work proceeds.
3. Deposits, cancellation and rescheduling
A deposit is required to secure your booking and commence work. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give as much notice as possible. Deposits cover work and materials already committed and may be non-refundable to that extent. We will always talk through the fairest outcome with you.
4. Payment terms
A deposit is payable to commence work, with the balance due on completion unless a progress-payment schedule is agreed in writing for larger projects. Payment is by bank transfer, and invoices are due on the terms stated on the invoice.
5. Workmanship and warranties
Statutory consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law apply to our work and cannot be excluded. All building work is carried out by a licensed builder and is backed by the relevant statutory warranties. Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied products and fixtures.
6. Site access and safety
We require safe and reasonable access to the work area, including power and water where the job needs it. Please disclose any known hazards, such as asbestos, electrical faults or structural issues, before work begins so we can plan and carry out the job safely.
7. Liability and insurance
JWT Construction & Maintenance carries public liability insurance and, where required, home building compensation cover. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law and consistent with the building trade. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Privacy
JWT Construction & Maintenance Pty Ltd collects and handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and our Privacy Policy. See /privacy.
9. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
